In fruits I knew that grapes, and rasins are not allowed, as they very toxic to dogs, chance of death very easy. How about feeding banana, peach, pear? What about vegetables?

I use to feed my guinea pig carrot, apple, lettuce. Will my toy poodle eat the same?

  1. and keep away from onions as they are toxic for dogs!

  2. I think the ones you've mentioned are ok for dogs.  Here's a list of things that are not so good, and I think anything that isn't on here is probably alright.  You do know that they need a good diet other than fruits and veggies right?

  3. banana, apple, peach, pears are fine. as long as there's no seeds when given to the dogs. normal dog diet do not require a lot of vegetables. they eat about 70% meat, and 30% fruits and vegetables. I feed my puppy Orijen puppy food. It contains most of the nutrients. Read about the ingredients in the dog food. Every dog has a different taste for fruits. My dog hates carrots, but he loves banana. Try giving a little bit to your toy poodle and see. If he/she doesn't like it, then try another type. However don't give too many fruits and vegetables, or they could get diarrhea. Hope this helps.

  4. One of my dogs favourite snacks aside from the dog biscuits is little baby carrots!  They also like apples, bananas and oranges but they only get little bite size pieces. Whenever I'm not sure about the safety of a food I call my vet and they're more than happy to tell me whether it's safe or not.

  5. The poodle can have carrots and tettuce if it will eat it. Dont give your dog fruit. There are too many that can cause problems. Look at the ingredients in a dog food that is made with veggies. feed it those. OR just dog food lol

  6. All the ones you mentioned are fine.
