.  They are desperately short of officers.  If your glasses correct you to 20-20, you can work.

There are I believe federal standards governed by POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training:  google them) that apply to all law enforcement officers.  If I recall correctly it's that your uncorrected vision be at least 20/60 in each each eye and correctable to 20/40 in each eye. Game wardens have higher standards that apply to them.
