  1. Temperature: They experience hot and humid summers that extend as early as late April to as late as November. The further south in Miss, the more likely you will see the long and hot summer.  It begins to cool off in November with a few short periods of cold weather and possible snow in the northern half of the state.  The coastal part of the state rarely sees snow and remains on average 10 degrees warmer than the northern section. The colder air ends by March with a brief Spring and then back into the heat by May.

Precipitation: The coastal regions receive lots of rain... up to 65 inches in portions near Biloxi per year.  It gets drier the further north you go as at the north border only about 45-50 inches of precipitation per year is normal. As mentioned, snow is possible in winters, but mainly only the northern half.  Otherwise, it's mostly rain.  The period from May to October sees daytime thunderstorms make a frequent appearance.  Hurricanes are possible from the same period as well with a maximum chance of one in August to early Sept.  Finally, the rain is pretty spread out over the season but tends to drop off during the fall.

  2. Summer is hot and it rains all the time. Spring is basically like Summer. It starts out in the 70's for a few weeks but after a while it gets really hot. The beginning of Fall is like the beginning of Spring, and then it slowly gets cooler. Winters are usually in the mid 50's during the day, and at night in the mid 30's.

I live in Louisiana, but I visit Mississippi all the time and that's usually how it is there.

  3. Hto wet summers, and right now im in louisiana and we got storms, so they are fixing to get wet themselves. The winter are misserable, and there is no such thing as fall and spring down here. Its hot then its cold wet and windy, then it winter, meaning cold wet and windy, and then there spring which is cold wet and then hot as h**l, then there summer which is hot and wet.
