  1. Most likely cool and wet, but that time of the year you may  hit a warm, dry, spell. I would suggest packing clothing you can layer such as T-shirts, sweaters or hoodies, vests, and for sure some kind of a rain jacket. Make sure to take one thing really warm. I went the first week of August a couple of years ago and when we were up at the Hubbard glacier it was actually snowing a little bit and the passengers on the decks were wrapped up in blankets! But it didn't matter though, the cruise was a fantastic experience and you'll enjoy every minute of it, regardless of the weather. So prepare for the worst, but hope for the best! Have fun!

  2. I went during the first week of June and I thought it was pretty nice weather.  It rained a lot by Juneau, but other than that, it was good.  In fact, it got up to 75 degrees one of the days.  But since the Inside Passage is on the coast, it's hard to predict weather so I would bring warm weather clothes as well as cool weather clothes.  When I went to Skagway, it was pouring rain and 45 degrees, but by the end of the day, it was sunny without a cloud in the sky and really warm.

  3. I went to the exact same route a few years back, and the weather was still pretty cool, in the 50s.  Expect some showers as well, cause it did happen.  There wasn't a lot of sun, most days were pretty cloudy.

  4. The weather will be very pleasant during the day but breezy while you are cruising most of the inside passage.  You will probably need a light jackets for the port stops.  When you get to the glaciers it will be cold, as in hat and coat and gloves cold.  When we were in the ports you mentioned (May) it was rainy in Juneau and Ketchikan. and actually warmer the further north we went, except at the glaciers.

  7. Normally by the last week of June the weather is in the 60's to mid 70's. You can check the weather threw the computer but, very very ever right.

Been to Alaska 19 times May thru Sept. never wore anything but, a light weight jacket.

If this is your first trip you will love every minute.

In Ketchikan go to Salmon Mall at end of pier. Also Alaska Shirt co.

Do not buy gifts on ship. Example on ship T-Shirt $15.00 in port $5.00. Visit Alaska shirt.com and see for yourself.

    ENJOY.
