So my mother is having a very small wedding. She doesnt really know what type of flowers she should have - i suggested gerber dasies or lilacs - something like that since the wedding itself kind of has a 70's feel to it. Does anyone have any suggestions????? thanks!

  1. I Think Daisies Would Be A Great Idea.

    =)

Go Speak With A Florist There Is No Harm In Asking.

    Good Luck.

    & Congrats To Your Mother.

  2. I work in a flower shop. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen are there, if any? I'm assuming you'll need a bridal bouquet, a maid of honor, maybe a few bridesmaids bouquets a groom bout, and a couple corsages, and maybe some other accents such as flower girl stuff and things like that. CALL YOUR FLORIST and set up an appointment to talk. IF its really small, you might be able to discuss options over the phone. A lot of vintage weddings go for roses. A simple rose bouquet with a few daisies would be simple and beautiful, and roses are available in any color. Some nice Skyline roses (they're a beautiful light yellow) paired with some yellow daisies would be nice. The groom could have a rose bout and the groomsmen could have daisy bouts. Bridesmaids could carry small daisy bouquets. Or, if roses are a no-go, why not gerbera daisies and regular daisies? Inexpensive, classy and fun! Good luck!

  3. I would definently go into a flower shop that you trust, and ask them. They have been a great help in letting me know what is in season, and they had tons of books and examples to show me from previous weddings. I would go into a store and look for something you like, you might get some new ideas. Good luck!
