Question:

What kind of wedding flowers are you going for?

My sister had bouquets called "kissing balls" that were pretty cool, but I want to do something a little different. I want to go for simple and elegant, and all I can think of are calla lilies.

Any ideas? What are you going to have at your wedding?

  1. We're going with bright orange gerberas :) And the bouquet is the orange gerberas with a mix of other flowers in really bright colours (just like the one at http://www.flowersbymichelle.com.au/) We want the wedding to be a happy and bright occasion and wanted flowers which represented that!

  2. I'm having lilacs and other purple flowers, like roses and hydrangeas.

  3. pale pink cream and champagne roses. really simple and romantic.

  4. I'm having a Champagne rose posy :)

  5. I am going to use wild flowers for my bouquet!!! I just wanted something a little different and I've always found wild flowers to be beautiful (my mom has a wild flower garden). Good Luck!

  6. red and pink roses

  7. Dark Pink Roses...Hot pink gerberas maybe and carnations for seating table display.

  8. all colors of tulips

  9. I used bright yellow roses and purple/yellow irises.  My colors were bright yellow and dark purple.  My flowers turned out beautiful.

  10. No Offense, I hate Cala Lillies. Everyone has them.

I ,too , want simple and romantic. I am using Vendela roses and Sahara roses . They are shades of ivory. The Sahara is a  gorgeous deep shade.

My centerpieces will have these same flowers as well as some others that are ivory.

My one attendant, my MOH, will have a smaller version on my bouquet .

  11. Im a florist...so i will just tell you the names of some beautiful flowers....

Dahlias, are awesome. Stagazer Lilies Beautiful and Fragrant. Peonies....sooooo pretty. Tulips...always a good choice.

Open roses, fully bloomed...with the stems entirely wrapped, and pearl headed pins down the length of the stems...goregous.

someone said gerberas, and its true they are pretty...but not so much elegant.

Calla lilies are great, and you know they can come in pink, green, burgundy..not just white any more!!

  12. I'm using pink poinsettias in my bouquet and my bridesmaids will have red ones.  I'm not really a flower person, but I've always loved the poinsettia plant because I love Christmas.
