What kind of wildlife livesin the UK?

Question

I can honestly say that I could not name a single wild animal that lives there. Except for the usual seagulls ect.. Are there any that only live there? How about ocean life?

foxes, and they were hunted brutally (still are now, but they are hunted illegally) and ripped apart by hounds...:O

Badgers, foxes, pretty little song birds a-plenty, Owls, hawks, kingfishers, grass snakes that do not harm anyone, rabbits, squirrels, including red ones on islands, all lovely gentle creatures that I miss. I moved to Australia and we tend to keep away from the wildlife here, it is all snakes and spiders and they are constantly trying to bite and kill us!

you should watch springwatch or autumnwatch next time it's on, it's full of useful info about this country's wonderful wildlife....including songbirds ( robins, bluetits greytits etc,lapwings, skylarks,sparrows,..etc), badgers, otters,squirrels,moorhens, mice, falcons,ducks,deer,foxes, insects,spiders,bats,seals,owls, seabirds....just to name a few...go for a walk in the countryside or in a park and see what you discover.

The UK has a vast and varied ammount of wild life .I also think this is the wrong place to be askin this question . the only answer i can give is , get out and about in our beautiful country side and discover them for you self. good luck.
