How about white zinfandal by Gallo, does that sound OK? The beans are not plain old pork and beans, they are Bush's Original baked beans. The franks? Well, they are just - franks.

  1. ANY kind of wine so long as it hides the taste of the franks.

i think a medium white would go well with b/beans (in fact i know it does.)

  2. white would be best.

  3. Cherry bounce.

  4. Thunderbird.

    What's the word?  Thunderbird!

    What's the price?  Mighty nice!

  5.   Any kind you want.

  6. Pork can be found in both beans and franks, so as a conciser (?) of wine, I would suggest a Riesling . . . Jacob's Creek makes a good 2005 bottle for about $10.00 . . .but don't take my word on that . . .I drink Diet Coke only . . = )  ! !

  7. The kind the street people carry in their little brown bag!

  8. if you need wine with beans and franks, a moderately sweet red wine

    Sangria might be nice.

  9. I'd select something on the sweet side to pair with the spice in the franks and beans.  White Zin will work or any Rose for that matter.  A sweeter option is a Gewurztraminer (Fetzer has a cheap one that's available at most grocery stores).

Beans, franks, and candle light.  Sounds like a truly special lady friend.
