My husband and I are having alfredo pasta tonight and we need to know what kind of wine would go with it. We are on a budget until the end of the month so it can't be an expensive wine. Something that we could get from a grocery store or even the ABC package store (which is next to our grocery store). My husband prefers a red wine. What are your suggestions?

  1. Carlo Rossi(Pisono) $14 for a gallon

  2. Just get what you like, but something fruity would be best, maybe a Zinfandel

  3. a dry white...or pink zinfandel.  barefoot brand 4.00$

  4. If on a budget,  I suggest two of Italy's best Super Tuscans that sell for less than $10

    1. Carpineto "Dogajolo" very lite red and perfect with alfredo

    2. Monte Antico Toscana, a tad bolder, but still nice

  5. Red or rosé wine - at any price -

Down thumb you're a goofie - white wine taste will be crushed by the flavours of the pasta - did you only read the question ????????

  6. oh man the best would be a pinot noir....

  7. A nice Cabarnet Blanc.

  8. A dry white wine in my opinion.
