Most of the alleged sighting of Madeleine McCann involve her being in the company of a woman. What kind of woman could knowingly assist in handing over a small child to a paedophile ring? To me it's unfathomable.

Your assuming that the child is taken for such a reason.there is child trafficing for adoption as well. Do you forget the case of the French charity  trying to take children from Chad. This goes on by the way a lot according to UNICEF children been taken to order for childless couples. A huge problem in Central and South America it is at the moment.
