  1. doesn't have as much to do with the amp as it does the enclosure , the enclosure sets the freq. response and determines the efficiency.

I would recommend the proper ported enclosure tuned around 30 hz if possible

    just my two cents.

  2. Kicker always

  3. while i agree with this guys 2 cents...i would further suggest a class d monoblock amp..these amps are most bass effecient..

at a high price and as for low bass i would highly reccomend a 15" alpine type r....but if youre on a budget get a decent 15" or even 18" sub for the deepest bass.....MTX makes a 22" jackhammer but its a bit overkill

  4. You want LOW. Do what I did. Get an 18" best bump for you buck is FI. Q series. then buy an xtant 1001 on ebay best for your money. the bigger the box the better. ported, try to tune @ 28-31 hertz.

  5. If you're looking for low bass, you'll want something with a low Fs.  If you want loud, you'll also need to look for something with a high sensitivity and/or be prepared to pay for a lot of power.  As for the amplifier, you'll want to buy an amp that puts out the power you want at the impedance of your drivers (combined).  It's hard to be any more accurate then that without knowing more details about the equipment you're choosing.  And, you'll also want to go with a ported enclosure.  make sure it's tunned properly and well built.
