  1. the elliptical or pilates works great!

  2. I ran cross country until I "grew up/out" too much but our coach had us do a lot of crunches, streching, and running each night, slowly upping mileage.

  3. the best would be various ab workouts such as:

crunches, bicycles, leg lifts, scissors etc.

For best results make it a circuit:

do 20  (or as many or as little as you want) crunches then, 20 bicycles, 20 sit-ups rest for 30 seconds to a minute then do it agian.  Do about 3 sets.  Abs is a muscle group that can be done every day, do it after you run though.

  4. what i can suggest is jog every night. every night you jog youll be able to go for longer and longer. it'll get u used to running for long periods of time.

  5. try to use lower body wait lifting and don't build to much uper body strenghth because muscle is hevier than fat

  6. Core and pillars! Sittups, leg lifts, supermans,  any exorcise that builds abbs( you use thoes alot running).
