  1. I would probably suggest to you a lop. there are holland lops, mini lops, french lops, and many more.

lops are cuddly, and they love to play. they are so so adorable too. they are called lops because of their ears. heres some information on a few of them to help you choose. (:

    french lop:

The French Lop Rabbit is one of the many breeds of rabbits that is suitable for children, however you should remember that they will grow to be quite large and will require constant care. The character and temperament of the French Lop are normally very docile. However whilst many of this breed are good natured and friendly, some do have bad tempers just like people!! The French Lop is a large rabbit which is heavy boned. Their bodies are broad, deep and well muscled. Their heads are quite wide, having good width between the eyes. They have long, thick ears that measure between 11 - 15 inches (measured from the tip of one ear to the tip of the other ear).  French Lops have dense and soft coats. You can add extra shine to their coat by stroking them. The natural oil from your hands will add a shine.

    holland lops:

Holland Lops are a small loveable bunny who have wide long ears, which hang down near their cheeks. Their bone structure is supposed to look large and massive but they actually have a fine bone structure and they don't weigh that much. They have broad shoulders, deep chests, and short thick legs. Being the smallest lop-eared rabbit, their maximum adult size is 4.0 pounds but for showing they should be about 3.5 lbs. Holland Lops come in many colors though they are especially seen in fawn, white, fawn and white, black and white, and tortoise shell colors.

    mini lop:

The Mini Lop will stay smaller than a regular rabbit and makes a great pet for children. Not only are they very "huggable" and playful, they are known to be successfully litter-box trained. Besides having the characteristic floppy ears, Mini Lops have a muscular build with broad shoulders, deep chests, and short, thick legs. Their adult size is generally only about 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 pounds. ( I am an owner of a lop myself, and she is a pleasure to have as a pet! if you get a rabbit you will love the lops. =] )

    rabbits in general:

Pet rabbits can became trained to recognise their names. They are more intelligent than guinea pigs and hamsters and will certainly get to recognise you and the sounds you make. With this in mind it helps to make the same sounds each time you approach them.

    prices??!

Feed is the single largest operating expense. Feed costs often represent 75 percent of total operating expenses. Feed also represents an area where cost reduction is possible through shrewd management. Purchasing in bulk may result in a significant cost savings. Rabbit feed should be between 12 to 18 percent protein. Feeding of additional hay or fiber is not necessary if the rabbit feed has at least 8 percent crude fiber. Commercial rabbit pellets are available which meet the nutrient requirements for rabbits in various stages of production. these lops are only  $15 -$60 which is not quite expensive for such a lovely pet.

good luck finding just the right bunny for yourself! i hope i helped! (:

  2. mini lop

  3. I suggest a mini rex.  These bunnies have amazingly soft hair, somewhat like a chinchilla's, are small, come in a variety of colors, and easy to care for!!!
