What kind/type of water is in the aquariums at Petco?

I just bought an underwater bamboo. Forgot to ask what kind/type of water is it.

I know dumb question...but I would like it answered please :D

  1. salt in some tanks then fresh in the other

    You can normally tell because salt water stuff needs a carefully balanced pH and need more care to take care of. Bamboo can survive with a vase and some tap water.
