I ahve a 30gall vivarium that I've had a tortoise in. I dont have him any more and was trying to think of something i can put in it. I'd like to refrain from anything I have to heat b/c thats one big reason I dont have my tortoise anymore. Gets too hot in my house for me to aircondition and keep cool. SO what should or could put in there?

If not I think i'm gonna get a betta or some kind of fish in a smaller tank.

  1. Either try Amphibians or some certain snakes... They're all gonna need some form of heat. a corn snake only needs a heat lamp (Those can be from 20-30 bucks... Pretty cheap for a heater!)

  2. tarantula or scorpion

  3. Most reptiles need some kind of heat source, but most amphibians don't and can live in cooler conditions, such as frogs, toads, newts, and salamanders.
