What kinda animal is this???

Question

i was at the beach with my friend.

& this sea creature was washed up on the shore dead..

we searched the internet for a while & have no clue what it is lol..

how about any of you??

& has a square shape...

I don't lnow. I have never seen anything like it. It almost looks like there should be more to it. Like somethng took a bite out of it. Anyway it is ugly.

Yeah, that's a sting ray alright. Notice the tail stub at the end. Poor guy. That wasn't an accident what happened to him. Looks like he was cleanly cut on either side of him. It's too straight to be a bite of anything. No idea what happened though. All I know is it was humans that done it too him.

looks like a sting ray with its side "wings" bitten/torn off

it also kind of looks like a monk fish a little bit ( the mouth looks alittle off though)

It appears to be a sting ray, or similar critter.  Some pieces have been cut off -- probably by someone fishing who's using the pieces for bait.  The fishing dude just chucked the rest into the water, and it washed up.
