What kinda fish is it?

i was at the beach & this thing was washed up on the shore.

i have no idea what it was..

looks like deformed fish that got eaten

definatly a ray of some sort,its sides and tail have been eaten by scavengers.

looks like the top part of a fish. probably a shark

Its a Bat Ray.  The fins have been eaten or cut off off and so has the tail.  You are viewing the side showing inside the gills.
