  1. ball pythons and corn snakes are pretty small. im not too familiar with corns but i am with BPs.

a ball python can be housed in a 10 gallon for about 6 or so months. then they need to be moved to a 20 gallon long, then a 40 or so, then a 55 gallon. im pretty sure the same thing goes for corn snakes.

ball python are very picky eaters. so make sure you get a good eater. and i would recommend not buying ANY snake from a pet store. they dont take good care of them and most die within a month. i have even seen dead ones in with live ones. so i would suggest a local breeder.

    good luck!

  2. a kenyan sand boa is one of the smallest snakes but even they would need igger than a 10 gallon tank

  3. two words(my fav snake ) the .... BALL PYTHON! they r great snakes i had ball pythons since i was 6 yrs old :P

  4. probably a 10 gallon snake

  5. none really because at full size all snakes i know of need a bigger tank

  6. KANDI AND SAM ARE WRONG, ball pythons get more than 6 feet long.  it would only be able to fit in a 10 gallon tank for no more than half a year, AND CORN SNAKES GET MORE THAN 3-4 FEET LONG, and won't fit in a 10 gallon tank for very long. garder snakes don't get very big and they don't even have to eat mice, you can just feed them fish.

  7. i hate when people dont read ?s all the way. do not get a ball python. they grow up to 4 feet long, females longer, and will quickly outgrow a 10 gallon tank.

most snakes will require at least a 40 gallon breeder at their adult size, if not larger. my suggestion to you is consider getting another sort of reptile that would be better suited for that size, such as a green or bahama anole or a long tailed lizard.

tree frogs would also do well in that size tank.
