  1. Adding to previous..they also ask you if you smoke or use tobaco also they ask you if you have done durgs. and if its military they will test you for drugs right after the interview.

  2. 1. Do have the money to pay?

    2. Can you see?

    3. Are you healthy?

  3. In the US at least, the only thing that a flight school really has to dertermine is that you are a US citizen, or if you are foreign, that you have been approved to take flight training in the US. That's about it. There is no interview.

  4. basically .. nothing.. a person has to start flying .. learning stalls and fear of certain things..   when i learned to fly i was not afraid of the airplane.. as time went on i discovered my weakness.. things that are important will only arise when you actually start flying.. and  when you solo other things come into play.. so my advice is to read  about weight and balance the stall speed of the aircraft.. and ask the instructor to demonstrate a stall all four types.. and the recovery.. piolatege  is difficult and allmost impossible at times.. learn to go places visually.. by finding land marks that are visible from a long distance.. a race track some water towers are not visible at night.. rivers are.. some large interstate highways.. but all that i am speaking of takes time... flying a ariplane is easy.. any one can do it when its in the air.. but getting from point a to b takes a lot of pratice and reading.. the kirshner student manual is a valuable book read it twice and remember to pre flight .. the instructor will show you how.. studying is the key.. ok gilermo..

  5. What kind of flight school?  A collegiate program, an academy, or a local FBO?

In a collegiate program, it depends on the admission standards.  A flight academies and FBOs do not have admission standards or interviews.  In the United States, the only prerequisite to flight training is that you must prove your citizenship (birth certificate or passport).  If you are not a US citizen, there is an additional background check administered by the TSA before training begins.

Except for college admissions, YOU should be the one asking all of the questions when choosing a flight school.
