This spider was sitting outside our window. It's about the size of a quarter I guess, maybe a bit longer. Found in the Vancouver WA area. Here is a link to a pic of it:

  1. I get those here in Ohio, some a lot larger than that,it is probably not deadly, but you are probably a dumb *** who will try to play with it and get bit.

  4. it looks like your run of the mill garden spider.  and yes, all spiders are poisonous.  the question is how much damage will it do to you???  not much, a slight irritation at worst.

  5. I do not know what it is but I have one outside of my window too.  It has set up a web over my raspberry plants and the web is quite a work of art as well as being large.  I came across it unknowingly and some of the web caught on my sleeve.  When I looked up there it was, and as long as he stays outside I have no problem with him.  Huge as it is this spider is doing a service to those of us who do not have to put up with the insects he catches in his web or her web.

  6. OMFG KILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
