to answer your question correctly from someone who is employed with wal-mart.  Cashiers, deli dept, seafood dept, meat dept, customer service, greeter, stocker, security, loss prevention, retail, jewelry dept, management (coaching positions), buggie pusher, layaway dept, electronics dept, distribution centers, bakery, janitorial work, garden center.  they have just about every position available just specify on your app. what your interested in doing.

I've actually heard horrible things about working at Wal-mart, that they treat their employees like c**p. It might be different in different places of the country, but I had some friends that worked at Wal-mart, and they got in trouble one day when they were on their break because they bought some pops from the pretzel place inside Wal-mart, instead of actually buying it from Wal-mart. They eventually quit and went to work for the pretzel place.

Just FYI one thing I do know for certain about Walmart is they have an excellent management program and the right person can put their time in and get their own store(s) and make a very good living well into 6 figures.
