  1. thunderbird ages beautifully

  2. If that is your criteria, then none really.  The only alcohol that improves with age are highly tannic red wines, such as better quality California cabernets or French Bordeaux.  A few other reds, such high quality pinot noirs improve with a few years of aging but don't hold for long periods of time.  Vintage and Tawny ports improve with age also.  But all wines need to be stored properly and the top shelf in the kitchen where it gets hot is about the worst place it can go.  So unless you have a place in your house that stays consistently cool all the time, forget aging wine.

  3. Wine will age at home. Champagne, whiskey, bourbon and scotch are aged in the barrels at the distilleries. many of the whiskey and bourbon barrels are sold to the scotch bottlers.

  4. Wine can age for a long time. I heard mead is alcohol (idk) and it can age for years! Mead can age in average temperature.
