What kinds of activities are there to do at espn college gameday/ is it worth going to?

I plan on going to college gameday, but am wondering what, if anything there is to do there besides watch. Also, if anyone else has been, was it worth going to?

The two times I've gone (PSU vs OSU 2005 & 2007) I've made it on TV, which was pretty cool. Other than that, it's kind of pointless. Bring a witty-yet-easy-to-read & non-offensive sign if you want to make it on TV.
