What kinds of careers can you see me doing?

I'm just looking for people's opinions, because I'm not very good at being objective with myself. Some of my personal qualities:

- I am curious

- I like to learn new things

- I like to research, compare, and analyze information

- I like helping people, and I'm compassionate and empathetic

- I do not handle stress well

- I am good with visual art and words

- I like having set ways to do things, though I can be creative with whatever I do

- I would like a job that is rewarding

- I can be impatient with others, but yet am a perfectionist myself

- I dislike math

Right now, I am looking at something like speech therapy, pharmacy, teaching, being a professor of something like sociology or linguistics, or being an editor.

Any other suggestions?

And please, nothing to do with home businesses!

  1. I'd say teaching fits you best. For added excitement, maybe teaching English abroad?

Working in a science lab (laboratory technician) or medical diagnostics (medical technologist) might be good too. It's usually pretty routine and stress free, and you get to contribute to science or medicine.
