  1. Anthropologists study humanity.  All cultures or subcultures are studied in some form or another.  Whether it be a tribe in the Amazon, or Africa, or even the culture of people living in poverty in the urban U.S. and the way they utilize their social networking system to survive.   Check out the following link for a quick look at a small number of books and the wide range of subject material that they cover.

    Anthropologists allow us to understand other cultures and people which in turn allows us to relate to them in ways we may not have seen.


  2. Anthropologists study all culture. Anthropology a hundred years ago, was completely different it was based on dominance, believing that certain people were more evolved than the others,  based on physical traits. Now anthropology is meant to create an understanding of different cultures.
