I've never had any, but I'm thinking about getting a tarantula or a ball python.

  1. a sugar glider they love mountain dew but its bad for them

  2. i have had llamas, alpacas, goats, camals, and believe it or not an african elephant!

  3. Hmmm.....well, i've had 2 ferrets and a brazilian possum. Maybe the ferrets aren't exactly "exotic" but the possum was, and was actually a great pet! We also babysat a goat once. Whatever animal you choose, be sure to research it first!

  4. Well, I run a reptile rescue. so A lot! right now we have 4 Green iguanas, 2 australian bearded dragons, 1 Jones Armadillo Lizard, 1 Chinese Water Dragon, 1 Black and White Argentine Tegu, 2 Red eared Sliders, 1 Ball Python, 1 Leopard Gecko, and a Sulcata Tortoise.

We have had Veiled, jackson's and Panther Chameleons, Crested Geckos, Tokay Geckos, Rose hair tarantulas, Cobalt Blue Tarantulas... etc.

    Tons!

Ball Pythons are wonderful beginner reptiles. Do tons and tons of research first. www.kingsnake.com has great caresheets. They are much more handlable than Tarantulas, and not as fragile. Good luck choosing though! If you have any questions, feel free to message us here at the rescue.

  5. I had an almost 6' green iguana. He lived 9 years. Research is very important when getting an exotic pet. They are a bit harder to care for than most typical pets. You also need to be able to identify illness or other problems, usually they dont act much different when sick.

  6. Ooh, a python would be fun! Remember to do your research before you get it, because those are pets people often abandon after their "coolness" wears off.

  7. I had a 4 1/2 ft.Iguana and a chinchilla
