  1. Adult click beetles eat pollen, nectar, grasses and flowers. Larvae eat roots.

    For larvae I found:

"Favourites are potato, beetroot and carrot as well as corms and tubers of anemone, dahlia, and gladioli. Damage to roots of strawberries, brassicas, beans, tomatoes".

The click beetles  live in flower border/herb garden, meadow area, hedge and the lawn. Also in parks and grassland. They can be found in almost any wild or cultivated habitat.

There is no special plant mentioned; one pic shows an Agriotes obscurus on a  white dead nettle:

    another one on rasberry

It seems they don`t have a special diet, they eat what they find.
