What kinds of food can a gerbil eat that are safe?

I need some foods for my gerbils that are safe and good for them. I need something that i can use as treats. Please use a list.

seeds

chopped fruits.

You can get a bag of gerbil feed at any pet store.

Make sure you give them sticks or bark from a tree that they can chew on as well.

If they don't have something to chew on, they'll chew up their cage because they have to chew to keep their teeth from growing too long.

I gave my gerbil a bit of KFC once and he loved it! Then from then, my gerbil kept asking me to go out each day and get a bargain bucket! Hoping in his little mind, that there would be some left overs for him.

So I recommend KFC, Burger King or Mcdonalds. Oh and they don't seem to like any Pizza based foods.
