What kinds of food does a 13 y/o need to grow properly?

I am allergic to dairy products and gluten (found in wheat)

  1. Put veg.s first, then meats, then fruits. Be careful with starches like wheat, they can become fat in the body, if enough exercise is not done.


  2. A good balance including meat, fruit, green vegetable, roots, pulses.  So long as you get a good all round mix that should be fine, but try to avoid as much sugar as is possible and keep an eye on the levels of fat in what you eat (you do need to eat an amount of fat though not too much).

    Regards the allergies, there's an issue here.  An awful lot of people have a certain dairy intolerance which is not quite an allergy.  Simply the lactose in unprocessed milk gives us really bad wind.  The good news on this is, if it's just that intolerance, then processed milk is often no problem.  Ok so if instead of wind, you're one of those people who comes up in a rash not a good idea to try...
