  1. My mom claims that eating salty foods right before going to bed causes her to have legs cramps at night. That's just her idea though, not something a doctor said.


  2. I have heard that leg cramps can be due to dehydration so I am assuming that water would help relieve the pain.

  3. muscle cramps are a symptom of low calcium. Try drinking milk or eating some dairy products like cheese and yogurt

  4. That is sign of lack of calcium. If You're pregnant, then you'll feel more because the baby is taking your calcium. the best way is to drink milk before you sleep.

  8. yeah i had a very severe left leg pain that only occurs at night. I suffered this for many years. Lately I went for a couple of painful traditional massages and i was told to avoid drinking ice water. i am better now. no more pain :)

  9. Bananas and orange juice they are both full of potassium. When peoople get leg cramps it's usually due to lack of potassium in the body. So eating a banana and drinking a glass of orange juice a day will replenish the potassium in the body. Some medications will cause a depletion in potassium . Alcohol comsumption  will do this also.
