What kinds of foods would they have at this restaurant?

Im going with my boyfriend tomorrow after a movie to this local restaurant called The Dixie Lunch. It's your average smalltown diner, and I was just wondering what kind of foods/drinks they would have there. We're not going for a meal, just a late night stop, and i want to eat and drink light, and i just wanted to be prepared.

Sounds like a country kitchen or a denny's if you want to eat light just have a salad.

It definitely sounds to me like you should expect to find Southern cooking.

They have homestyle foods like stewed chicken and meat loaf... the menu changes every night... but then burgers and stuff they have all the time.  You might want to just make it an "appetizer" or "dessert" stop or get a sandwich or something...
