you want to have fun and dive get a resort job on a cruise ship the pays not brilliant but...you do the math

Mr. Lizard is right, but you could also help recover crime evidence such as weapons that are thrown into rivers and lakes.

You could hire out privately to recover lost items in lakes, such as jewelry, outboard engines, fishing gear, etc.

I know of a guy that dives in ponds at the golf course, to recover golf balls, and then sells them.

as someone mentioned, you could get a job on a cruise ship.  You could also get a DM / Instructor job at a resort.  Pay wouldn't be good but it would be cool to live on the islands for a year or 2.

You could be on a body recovery team, and look for people who have drowned.
