waitress in a restaurant or bar,shop girl in a english library or in big stores where many turists go!  teacher is much harder!

To be able to work in Italy you must have a work permit as like Italian are not able to work in USA. If you are a student you can get a student VISA and then the school could find you some part-time job for you. If you do not have a VISA, maybe you can teach English but Firenze (Florence) is not really an open town, you should know somebody there to be able to work...
