Question:

What kinds of perennials can be planted in the fall?

I'd like to plant a good variety so come next year, I will have flowers blooming throughout spring, summer, and fall. Any suggestions would be appreciated! =)

  1. you can plant nearly any perennial in the fall. Especially trees, bushes, and bulbs. I love tulips, and irises. I could go on, but really, it would be a list. You can search out your favorites.  here are some websites some with tips and others with flowers...

  2. The fall is the best time for planting perennials. Most nurseries are loaded with perennials in late summer and early fall. Go to a reputable nursery and ask the staff what you can purchase for year round blooming plants.
