  1. Well, it depends on what your definition of "things" is.  Are you wanting to know about activities or strategies/accommodations to manage behavior, improve memory and organization, and increase attention to detail?  Children with ADHD can do the same activities as other children.  They may require some academic/behavioral accommodations with or without pharmacological management (medication).  The following websites may be of help: http://chadd.org/ , http://add-adhd.lifetips.com/ , http://www.russellbarkley.org/adhd-facts... , http://www.ldonline.org/article/5925 , & http://www.childdevelopmentinfo.com/lear...

  2. paaalease!  if the subject is boring to them do you blame them?  i have been in college lectures where i have not been able to control myself from walking out the door!  poor kids.  fun stuff is always great for anyone!  and look into alternative methods for teaching.  my kid has learned everything she knows from video games and dvds! (of course they are educational) she doesnt play with toys because they bore her. (she does like pretend with dolls)

  3. You can do any activity with an ADHD child that you can do with "normal" children.  The key is in the explanation of the activity.  Make sure the child understands exactly what is expected of him.  Tell him any important information while looking in his eyes and then make him repeat it back to you.

Remember- ADHD children are usually very creative so activities involving design, art, decoration, etc. are usually great stuff to choose.

  4. Hands on activities, that don't require being still for long periods of time. Short activities, the longer the activity last the more they will start to fidget and then their mind (maybe their body) will start to wonder.

  5. As Angie May  says anything hands on as i have a brother who has Autism and Adhd and it's really difficult as you will see if you go to my website and if the person with Adhd gets bored they may do nasty things so if you want a adhd child to do things they should definetly be hands on if you want more info go to my website at: www.freewebs.com/lisakerr3

And i also agree with Sharlove totaly too.

    Hope I've helped
