Some people mentioned that she could get her father in trouble, or jeopardise his career progression (i'm not sure what the military rankings mean, but i think he's a fairly high-ranking officer)

What kind of things would cause this? please give some behaviours and punishments as examples. would the military dependent be punished by the military base as a whole (i.e. forced curfew or something) or is it left to the family? what's the procedure when a military dependent gets in trouble?

thanks, and sorry again for all the random questions!

  1. depending on the severity of the offense, dependents can barred from a base completely. Stealing, fighting, vandalism, anything that will get you in trouble in the civilian world can do the same on base. Sometimes less severe than jail but you can also loose your on base privilege and even have your dependent ID card taken away, loosing benefits and privilege. It would all depend on the unit/base Commanding officer. As far as the active duty person, he can also be disciplined for the actions of their spouse/children
