  1. well to start off,

    don't OVER do it.

go for a jog around an oval, like a 2-3km run.

do some foot work training (such as using cones and run around them etc)

for strength, in tennis your strength also comes from you body (shoulders, abs etc), don't just muscle the ball in, but if you really want to hit powerful balls, i recommend a looser tension on the racket strings, stay side on when you hit the ball, bend ur knees, watch the ball as it hits your strings (it helps)

weights won't really help you much with the strength in 2 weeks. but do a few pushups (such as 3 sets of 10, 3 sets of 20-30 sit-ups, max amount of chin ups) and you'll be ready to go.

    ALSO:

STRETCH before and after a match/training.

EAT healthy food, (bananas, apples, honey & white bread is good after tennis)

    goodluck

  2. u dont need anything but skill you will get fit by practicing

  3. im 14 and play tennis on varsity level :)

but for my tryouts, you need to be able to run around our quarter of a mile track 7 times in under 15 minutes.

but i think if you start jogging around your neighboorhood,

do pullups and stenghten your arm muscles, do a couple sets of 20 crunches each night, and some sets of pushups. you should be good to go.

    and practice your skills :D
