What king of bug is this? About 1 1/2 inches long, black and yellow kind of checkered and 2 long antennae?

I found this bug in the backyard. It is actually really cool looking and i've looked online everywhere for it but i can't seem to find it. i do have a pic but i don't know how to post.

maybe it sounds familiar to someone.

There are a number of beetles that it could be.  It is more than likely a longhorn beetle.  

It could also be a Spotted Cucumber Beetle depending on what you consider to be yellow.
