  1. This can take some work to find out, and should be verified by personally talking to whichever agencies have jurisdiction in the area. Which agency has the final say varies a lot and depends entirely on where you live, as discussed in this article on finding out local laws.

The most exotic? Depending on your preferences. I for one like tarantulas

  2. certain types of sharks, chinchillas and some cool rodents. a lot of reptiles. i had 2 snails but they had 21 babies. oh and you could get a snake or a tarantula

  3. I breed hissing roaches.  They are considered exotic.

  4. depends on the state

  5. Depends on the locality - but you can keep lions, tigers, alligators, boas, elephants, llamas...etc.

  6. sugar gliders, and there are types of foxes you can have, those are the probably easiest, pretty exotic ones you can get.

i have chinchillas but lately ive seen them in most pet stores so their losing their exotic status.

  7. chinchilla, snakes, frogs, lizards, spiders, birds like macaws. african parrot.....n such

    petco

    petsmart

  8. chinchillas

  9. Actually you need to check with your state as that is also a factor.

  10. I have two snakes and a tarantula...they're kind of exotic. I don't really know of many at all. That's all I can do to help. Sorry!

  11. Snakes, lizards, tarantulas, scorpions.  Chinchillas are pretty exotic.

  12. sugar glider

    hedgehog

    etc.

  13. This depends a lot on what state and city that you live in.

For example, some metropolitan cities won't even allow you to own a Pit Bull, or other "vicious" breed. In fact, many states didn't even allow people to own ferrets until the 1990's (such as New Hampshire) because it was feared that they killed livestock - which is truly absurd!

Other states will allow you to own a wide variety of animals.

Check your state laws for animal ownership rights.

  14. I don't mean to sound like a crazy animal activist, but personnaly, I have issues with keeping exotic pets. There're not ment to be pets in the first place, like a dog or cat, and they can't be treated like a domestic pet either. Of course, you could always get a snake.
