what kind of look are you going for? one to wear to school? you have nice dark skin, so you should get a mineral foundation, the new revlon mineral bare naturals i think its called. dont use liquid, whatever you do, it will make your skin more oily. gold would look good on you for eyeshadow as well as a lilac. a nude gloss would look nice. take a look at this for ideas.http://www.carefair.com/makeup/makeup_fo... the picture of this girl is an example of the lilac.

You've got a warm, rich skin tone and smooth, dewy skin.  You can get away with skipping the foundation and applying concealor to needed spots (pardon the pun).

You would pull off bright colors gorgeously.  Go for a bright, yet sheer (no one needs the caky look) cream eye shadow (especially the kind with shimmer!) and go easy on the mascara, since the eye shadow would be more than enough.  A blush with a sort of plum shade to it would blend beautifully with your skin tone.

Don't forget glossy lips. ;-)  Cranberry would look great.
