  1. She didn't conquer anywhere.  As for owning, well I am sure she owned quite a bit of land in both France & Scotland, she didn't conquer it though.

  2. Mary, Queen of Scot was only Queen of Scotland, however, she did try to conquer England with the help of the French. Mary always believed that she was the rightful heiress to the throne of England, and that her cousin Elizabeth I was deemed illegitimate, therefore, she did not have any claim to the English crown.

Under the ordinary laws of succession, Mary was next in line to the English throne after her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I, who was childless. In the eyes of many Catholics, Elizabeth was illegitimate, thus making Mary the true heir. However the Third Succession Act of 1543 provided that Elizabeth would succeed Mary I of England on the throne.

Note: Mary of Scots was also the queen consort of France from July 10, 1559 to December 5, 1560. However, Mary returned to Scotland soon after her husband's death.

  3. She did not conquer anywhere.  She became Queen of Scotland when she was a baby after the death of her father King James V.  She was very briefly Queen of France, but her husband Francois died when he had been King for only a very short time.  She was forced to abdicate the throne of Scotland after the Scottish nobles revolted against her, but she claimed afterwards that her abdication was invalid because she had been under duress when she signed the document, and she continued to call herself Queen of Scots until her death.
