What language is "quel surpris?"?

I know in english it means "what a surprise" sarcastically. I thought it was French, but the French is quelle surprise. It's not Spanish, what is it?

  1. It's the phonetical spelling of "Quelle surprise" : 'What a surprise', or usually sarcastic : 'What else is new?'

  4. it is french, correctly written as 'quelle surprise'. in spanish it is 'que sorpresa'. in italian it is 'che sorpresa', (i speak italian fluently.)
