It is not near Africa. The Philippines is in South-East Asia. English and Tagalog are the official languages, but about 85 other languages and about 300 dialects are also spoken.

And Race Against...: Check your facts, please! Filipinos are no mix of "black and Asian" - they are people of mostly Malay and Chinese descent. They can't speak English with an "African accent" , as they are nowhere near Africa! Duh.
