  1. For 2 points: Portuguese. But they call it brazileno. Its significantly different to euro portuguese.

    And no, people in Brazil do not insist they speak Brazilian.  I was born and raised in Brazil and have never heard of such a thing.  I guess most Brazilians are smarter than "bruxho" gives then credit for.  

    By the way, in Portuguese, bruxo is not spelled with an h.

The people in Brazil insist that they speak Brazilian.There has been a movement for many years to have their dialect of Portuguese accepted as a separate language.There are enough differences in the way they pronounce their words and they have invented enough local words to justify them wanting their own language.
