What languages are next?

Question

Alright well iv'e learnt HTML and CSS and iv'e gotten quite comfortable with it. Now what languages shall i next move on to. I'm planning on programming and enhancing my websites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Should probably learn XHTML as (supposibly) it will be the only HTML accepted.. But ive also heard this is BS and most browsers just ignore the extra code in XHTML..

But you can look into DHTML/Javascript and then move onto PHP!
