What laptop should i purchase from my school. Acer, HP and MacBook are available. Which one should i get?

List the specs and compare them with the price... But here's some advice I can give you for now...

Acer - build quality isn't that good (sacrifice durability for affordable prices)

HP - while it may look good appearance-wise. Certain HP's tend to overheat

Mac - pricey but has almost none of the things you get above

Other reliable brands: Lenovo and Asus.

Get a macbook, the others are c**p and will let u down. I used to use pc's but have never been happier with my mac, it runs windows if u want too

I would get a MacBook if I had the choice... and an iMac, and a G4 Cube... :-)

HP

Acer is known for poor quality and lacks reliability

Macbook is a macbook

Depends on what you need it for. If you are solely using it for school work/projects/web browsing/every day uses then go with the Macbook. If you are going to be doing gaming go with the HP. Apple makes very high quality products and you can't go wrong with the MacBook line.
