The first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun were leaked online.  Stephenie Meyer found out, and on her sight she said that since that happened the book is "on hold indefinitely".  It is very sad to think that some Twilight fans are so disloyal.  If you want to read them, she posted them on her sight.  go to stepheniemeyer.com

Apparently some rough draft of like 12 chapters. But it's like the SAME book as Twilight so who cares?

Someone posted the first 12 chapters on the internet, but how did they get a hold of them? Unfortunately, Stephenie Meyer was the one who passed out copies to some cast and crew of Twilight. If one is trying hard to keep a book under wraps I really can't imagine passing out an unfinished rough draft, and expecting it to still stay a secret for perhaps years more. It's naive I think. I understand she is disappointed, but all in all, she herself let the draft get away from her. I really enjoy the Twilight series and hate comparisons, but I don't remember hearing about J.K. Rowling passing out copies of her newest unpublished Harry Potter books to the cast and crew.
