They would probably garnish your wages because the sales order is a contract and they would easily be able to get a court decree forcing you to pay.

They will sue you and win, easily.  The trouble is, if you're a real loser (and a person who'd hide a car would certainly fall in that category), you may not have anything worth taking.  Then it's tough for them.  But of course, it's tough for you too.  Who wants to be a loser forever?  At some point you're going to want to be a winner, right?
