What legal formalities needed before launch a scientific products?

I am doing my training in a US biotechnology company. The company wants to launch a new products and wants me to do all home work before launching. Please help i.e what all checklist are required before launching e.g. Product patent info etc etc.

From an IP (intellectual property) perspective, you may consider performing a freedom to operate (FTO) search/analysis on your products.  And FTO search essentially looks at existing patents and determines whether your products may or may not infringe those patents.  While FTO searches are not foolproof, they're certainly one way to approach launching a new product.
