What legit website can you post short stories on?

I want to submit my SS's to online sites that will put on their website -- they have to be notable so I can refer them to an agent -- links would also be apprieciated -- thanx

If you post a short story, online, an agent will refuse to take it. Why? Because it is up for anybody to take and use it for themselves. Here's how you can publish.

After you're completely satisfied with the story, no grammar, punctuation, syntax, errors, search for Magazines, contests, and anthologies that you can send the story too. Query them depending on the guidelines and wait for a response. You may not always be required to query them, depending on what they say. If they accept, send the story. Wait some more. If they agree to publish it, great! But don't expect it on the first try. You will be rejected. Just move on
